One of the brightest stars of the WNBA, she is spending her inagmural season with the Comets on the injured reserve list - her first child, Jordan Eric Jackson was born on June 25, 1997.

Cooper captured her second consecutive league MVP Award this past season and was the only unanimous selection on the All-WNBA First Team. The WNBA's scoring champ the last two seasons, Cooper also topped the league in three-point field goals made and ranked in the league's top 10 in assists, free throw and three-point field goal percentage.
