Scored WNBA career-high 23 points vs. New York Liberty, July 12, 1998. Ranked 19th in WNBA in rebounding in 1997 (4.8 rpg). Mercer University's all-time scoring leader with 2,796 points. Congreaves, whose parents are from Guyana and who grew up just south of Landon didn't start playing basketball until age 15 and was dunking the ball at age 16. Sheeran track, threw the javelin and participated in the high jump in high school. Her father Oscar was a track official.



Jessie could be a second coach for the Miracle on the court. She served as an assistant coach (on the college level) between 1994-97, after being an All-ACC First Team member at Maryland in 1992 and '93.
