Thunder Card of the Day

Kevin Durant
The NBA's top rookie in 2007-08. Durant will now showcase his skills for the Oklahoma City partisan. The agile shooting guard has a great advantage when shooting over smaller defenders, and his post-up game should improve with experience. In a 151-147 win over the Nuggets on 4/6/08, Durant scored 37 points and was a perfect 13 of 13 from the foul line.

Name that player!

Dort got it done on both ends of the hardwood on April 13, 2021. Against Utah, the two-way swingman drilled seven triples, finished with 42 points and swiped four steals. The only other player in franchise history to put up all those numbers was Russell Westbrook on April 5, 2017.

Adams became the first rookie for the Oklahoma City franchise to log a postseason double-double since Nate McMillan posted to points and 15 assists for the Sonics against the Lakers in 1987. The native of New Zealand recorded to points and 11 rebounds at the Clippers onMay 15, 2014 in a 104-98 Thunder win.

In his second season in 2020-21, Bazley was one of four players on the Thunder who was born in the 2000s. No greenhorn on the glass, the youngster ripped down 396 rebounds, most on the team. His double-double (20 points, 12 boards) helped OKC pull out a 111-110 win against the Pelicans on Jan. 6.

James Harden
Somewhere out there, there are four voters who may have missed the boat. Harden was a near unanimous choice as the 2011-12 NBA Sixth Man of the Year, garnering 115 of 119 first-place votes. He had such a fantastic year for the Thunder, averaging 16.8 points, that the announcement was just a formality.
