Grizzlies Card of the Day

Vince Carter
Carter arrived to Memphis for the 2014-15 campaign with one goal in mind: an NBA title. "I'm able to come in and hopefully get us over the hump," said the veteran who's played for six teams in his 17-year career. "That's the goal. Go as far as possible and hopefully hold up that O'Brien Trophy here in Memphis."

Name that player!

Acquired cheaply from the Lakers in the off-season, Anthony made the best of his expanded minutes by becoming the Grizzlies' thirdleading scorer. He made franchise history on February 4th against New Jersey when he chalked up the club's first 40-point game. Peeler hit 13/28 FG's (inc. 6/12 3-PT FG's) and 8/8 FT's while peppering the box score with seven rebounds, five assists and three steals.

Antonio Daniels may have been the best two-way player in the draft this year. The Mid-American Conference Player of the Year in 1996-97, he led the loop in both assists and points last season, taking Bowling Green to the NIT. He's ranked second all-time at his school in points and assists.

Started 26 of his 46 rookie-season games... Ranked 4th in FG% (.591) among all NBA players with 400+ MIN...Sunk 19 of his last 30 shots... Hit his only two-3-PT FGA's of the year.
