Seahawks Card of the Day

Eugene Robinson
Eugene, who did not get a nibble in the '85 NFL draft, played tough at free safety for the Seahawks in '89. He topped the team in tackles (102) for the second year in a row and also was the leader in interceptions with five in '87. Eugene scored his only pro TD when he returned a blocked punt eight yards into the end zone.

Name that player!

Walker knew what he could do heading into his rookie season, and after the fact, he earned plaudits for his self-belief. The sensational Seahawks halfback needed just 11 starts over 15 games to rack up 1,050 rushing yards in 2022, finding the end zone nine times along his way. That earned him a nod on the football writers' All-Rookie team.

Daryl recorded the Seahawks' longest pass reception of the 1984 season, an 80-yard catch from Dave Krieg. Equipped with big-play capabilities, his 10 touchdown receptions ranked among AFC's leaders last year. Daryl was an Honorable Mention All-Big 10 selection by AP as a junior and senior at Michigan State. He caught 78 passes for 1577 yards and a 20.2 average in career. Was 4-year letterman as collegian.

Russell impressed the nation with his play in 2012, but he enthralled his Seattle teammates even earlier. "He came in with the right attitude, the right mind-set, veteran receiver Sidney Rice says, "and that was to get things done, Wilson got a lot done as a rookie, posting the fourth-highest passer rating in the league, leading his team to an 11-5 record and winning his first postseason start.
