Mike enjoyed perhaps the finest rookie campaign in NHL history last season. He established a new league record by scoring 53 Goals as a rookie. Included in his total were 25 Power-Play Goals as he won Rookie of the Year recognition.

Gerry is a former Rookie of the Year in the American League, he broke into the NHL with the Chicago Black Hawks. He once needed two operations to correct an injury to his forearm. A stand-up goalie with a good attitude, he was originally the property of the Montreal Canadiens, and turned pro with Houston in 1965.
