Name that player!

Coach Punch Imlach feels Peter Stemkowski is one of the real future greats in the N.H.L. "Stemer" is big and strong and a "two-way" hockey player. Played outstanding hockey in the Stanley Cup games.

Known as "Slinker" Sloan because of his deceptive style of play, he came to the Leafs in 1950 via Pittsburgh and Cleveland. He has been alternated between Right Wing and Center, being able to play both positions equally well.

Came to the Leafs from Detroit in 1946 on a trade for Billy Taylor. Starting his 8th season for the Toronto club. A top-notch two-way player he is an expert at taking a pass and getting the puck away in a flash.

Back to the Front! Maple Leafs card back du jour...

Robert "Bobby" Hassard
Came to the Toronto club a year ago from Pittsburgh where he was a leading scorer. Gave a tremendous account of himself as a newcomer with only 4 of his team-mates ahead of him on total points and tied Leaf captain Kennedy for leading in assists with 23 to his credit.
