Name that player!

New York's veteran defenseman, Harry is starting his 16th year as a Ranger. Last season he played perhaps the best hockey of his 15 years in the N.H.L. Was named #1 defenseman on the N.H.L. All-Star Team: and awarded the James Norris Trophy as best N.H.L. defenseman.

Playing his first full season in the N.H.L. last year, Ed sparked Rangers to their best performance in years. He led the league in shutouts and was named first All-Star Goalie, a fitting reward for his splendid play.

Born Three Rivers, Que., May 30, 1940. Shoots left. Gilles voted top rookie in WHL last season at Vancouver. Also rated high as an MVP. Had shutouts in first two games as pro. Bears resemblance to ex-Ranger Gump Worsley.
