Whalers Card of the Day

Andrei Nikolishin
Another top young prospect to come out of the Moscow Dynamo hockey program, Andrei Nikolisbin is a big part of the Whalers rebuilding process. Hartford is counting on him to put up respectable offensive numbers, but equally important will be his two-way play. The Whalers need to shore up their play in their own zone, and Nikolishin has the potential to match up defensively with the opposition's top offensive lines.
