MLB DEBUT: 0-FOR-4. A hitless intro on June 28, 2022, was not indicative of the boost Pasquantino would give the Royals the rest of the way, but it was a celebratory night nonetheless. MLB Pipeline's third-ranked Kansas City prospect received a standing ovation from the Kauffman Stadium crowd ahead of his first at-bat.

Brady led Royals starters in wins, innings, strikeouts and ERA in 2022, using a sinker/slider approach to rack up outs consistently. Over his final 15 starts beginning July 8, he went 7-2 with a 2.57 ERA, lasting at least six frames in 13 of those outings.

Bobby called his Major League debut of April 7, 2022, "the day I've been waiting for my whole life." It wasn't hard to see coming. The five-tool talent was the 2019 Gatorade National Player of the Year and the 2021 Baseball America Minor League Player of the Year. At 21, Witt was the third-youngest player in the AL when he socked his initial homer on May 3.
