Name that player!

Switched from the White Sox to the Senators after 10 games in 1950. On the mound 22 times for the Nats. Won 9, lost 10. Belonged at one time to the Indians. While with the Baltimore Orioles in 1947, Bob was voted the outstanding southpaw of the International League. Bothered by wildness with Orioles in 1948. In 1949, with White Sox, had a record of 10-6. In service 3 years.

After playing in 36 games for the White Sox in 1950, Cass was traded to the Senators. He was in 106 games for the Nats. Batting average for the 2 teams was .266. Drove in 66 runs and scored 69. Hit .308 for the Sox in 1949. Drove in 83 runs. Started with Chicago at end of 1943 season. Began 1944 with Little Rock. Hit .356 in 54 games. Immediately recalled by Sox.

Experts predict a great Big League future for "Pete" who was named to the Rookie All-Star Team after the Senators called him up in the middle of the 1951 season. At Chattanooga in '51, he hit .356. A World War II veteran and former Rice Institute student, Jim started in the minors in 1949 and hit .372. In 1950 at Texarkana, he batted .330 and hit 10 home runs.
