Name that player!

Richie was the greatest rookie hitter in Philadelphia's history. He set eleven club records as a freshman. Starting only his third year with the Phillies, Richie is the acknowledged team leader. Teamed up with Johnny Callison, Richie and his teammate give Philadelphia perhaps the best one-two punch in baseball.

Curt's first major league Shutout was a 3-hit masterpiece vs. Pirates, 6-8-92. Pitched Shutout at Montreal, 6-23-92. Spun 5-hit Shutout vs. Padres, 7-22-92. Curt is a World War II history buff.

Willie's most dramatic hit of 1972 came with Phillies, July 28th. In a scoreless game Willie belted a 2-run Homer in 9th inning to give club a 2-0 win. Game was Steve Carlton's 15th win of season and 10th in row, breaking club record.
