The ace of the Twins' bullpen in '65, Al has been pitching pro ball since 1951. He led Minnesota in games and ERA last year.



Lightning struck twice as young Tony Oliva won the American League batting championship for the second consecutive season in 1965. Never before in big league history has a player won such honors in his first two campaigns. From May 25th till the end of the year, Tony batted at a .352 clip for the Twins.



Selected as third baseman on Topps Major League Rookie All-Star Team for 1971, the honor is more meaningful in that Steve made the jump to the majors all the way from the Class A Carolina League. Steve is a versatile player, he's also seen duty at 2nd base, shortstop & the outfield.
