Twins Card of the Day

Luis Arraez
A rarity in today's free-swinging game, Luis is a barrel-to-ball maestro. His .313 AVG leads active players (800+ ABs), and his SO/BB is virtually 1-to-1. In a pair of 2021 contests, he reached base five times.

Name that player!

Lenny led the Sally League in hitting in 1956 with a mark of .318. He was a valuable man in 1960. He pinch-hit a hame run against Boston. A fine fielder, Lenny's powerful arm has trapped many a baserunner.

The ace of the Twins' bullpen in '65, Al has been pitching pro ball since 1951. He led Minnesota in games and ERA last year.

One of Twins' top winners in 1972, Dick was among staff leaders in all categories. He spent the 1971 season at Portland and led PCL in Victories and Strikeouts. Had trials with Twins in 1969 and 1970.

Back to the Front! Twins card back du jour...

Josh Donaldson
Donaldson is royalty in the stat columns, doling out dozens of dingers and doubles each year to rank among the leaders in total bases. He'd likely top the circuit in fired-up faces, too, if those were ever quantified. Few let the passionate feelings flow like the veteran slugger, who wears his emotions on his sleeve like badges of honor.
