Name that player!

Daniel's 115 doubles from 2012-14 ranked fifth in MLB and second to Robinson Cano among keystone staffers. Since returning from a knee injury in '11, he's batted .294 and been a consistent run scorer for the Mets. Murphy's emergence as a premium offensive threat was recognized with a trip to the MLB All-Star Game in '14.

Born and raised in Stamford, Conn., Valentine was always a short drive from the hustle and bustle of New York. In time, he would become the toast of the town. After spending much of his playing career on the West Coast and getting his first managerial gig in Texas, the skipper took over in Queens and brought the borough a pennant in 2000.

In the Mets youth movement, John is one of the key players that the Mets are counting upon for years to come. Johnnny is a lefthanded batter with good power to all fields. A player with rare determination, John played most of the 1963 season with a broken finger. Unable to perform his catching duties that year, he played centerfield with a splint on his finger.
