Welcome to the Devil Rays Exhibition Hall

Devil Rays Card of the Day

Wander Franco
Wander is a throwback to an era where batters were embarrassed to strike out. It seems he'll do anything to avoid whiffing. Wander fanned just 57 times in his first 498 PAs, mostly before his 21st birthday.

Name that player!

No one on the quick-hook 2021 Rays qualified for the ERA title, but Shane led the AL East Division champs with 25 starts, 10 wins, and 141 whiffs as a rookie.

Niemann posted a 12-6 record and a 3.98 earned run average over 25 starts at Triple-A Durham in 2007 Called up to Tampa Bay in 2008, he won his Major League debut against Baltimore on 4/13/08.

Though small in stature, Scott carries a forceful presence to the mound. Tampa Bay's left-handed ace led the AL in strikeouts in 2007. At 23, he became the circuit's youngest "K king" since Frank Tanana in '75. Kazmir, who made the All-Star Game in '06, is already the winningest pitcher in club history.
