The WNBA's scoring champ the last two seasons, Cooper also topped the league in three-point field goals made and ranked in the league's top 10 in assists, free throw and three-point field goal percentage.

Born in Sao Paulo, Janeth has been named the MVP of the Brazilian League all seven years that she has played professionally and was the leading scorer of the league in 1995 and 1996. As a teenager, she was the club league MVP from 1986-89.

One of the brightest stars of the WNBA, she is spending her inagmural season with the Comets on the injured reserve list - her first child, Jordan Eric Jackson was born on June 25, 1997.
