Originally drafted in the third round with the 29th overall pick of 1999 WNBA Draft by the Detroit Shock. A two-time collegiate All-American and four-time All-SEC choice at Alabama. Was named the SEC Tournament MVP after leading 'bama to the championship game her freshman year.

Sheryl, whose Texas Tech jersey #22 was retired in '94, holds the record for points scored (47) in a NCAA championship game. One of the brightest stars of the WNBA, she is spending her inagmural season with the Comets on the injured reserve list - her first child, Jordan Eric Jackson was born on June 25, 1997.



Monica, you're pogo stick quick off your feet and you know how to play the tenacious D. You showed your stuff all over Italy, but now we're glad you can do the same on your home soil now.
