Name that player!

The game's greatest playmaker and one of its top drawing cards in his 12th NBA season. A brilliant ball handler and fine shooter, this "Houdini of the Court" has never failed to be voted a place on the All-Star team. He owns a flock of records, including a fantastic 28 assists in one game, on Feb. 27, 1959, against Minneapolis. He has led the league in assists in all but three of his 11 seasons, having as many as 715 in the 1959-60 campaign. His career total of 14,477 points is topped only by Adolph Schayes.

This great corner man of the world's champion Celtics has been a star from the moment he donned a Boston uniform in 1956-57. A brilliant shooter with either hand, Tom led his team in scoring last season with 1,579 points to raise his lifetime average to 19.2 points per game. After hanging up a four-year varsity mark of 2,053 points at Holy Cross, Heinsohn was the only rookie selected to the East squad on the NBA All-Star team.

Ability to control the ball is Cousy's specialty. In the closing minutes of a tight game, with the score tied, Cousy, with his uncanny passing and dribbling, keeps the Celtics in control until the last second. Then he shoots, usually scores and it's too late for the opposition to do anything. It is his sleight-of-hand tricks and behind-the-back dribbles and passes that spark the Celts' devastating fastbreak offense. No wonder he is called the "Houdini of the Hardwoods." No one can dribble like he does. Here he's shown taking to the air for a basket against the Royals' Phil Jordan.
