The eighth leading rebounder in the NBA last season with an average of 13.8 grabs per contest, Tom led the Bulls in that department for the third consecutive season while topping the 1000-mark for the 2nd time in his career. Forced to share the center job in his first two years at Chicago, he saw more duty last season. He was a star rebounder in college at Tennessee.

The 1989 Big Eight player-of-the-year led Oklahoma to the NCAA championship game, led the NCAA tournament in scoring and was a first-team all-America selection.
