The second player selected in the ABA College Draft of 1974, Marvin enjoyed a sensational rookie campaign with the Spirits of St. Louis by being named as league's Rookie of the Year and being a starter on the All-Star Team. Marvin was an All-State selection in high school on team which had record of 48-0.
Garza left the University of Iowa as the nation's best interior player. In 2021, the center made his debut in the Summer League and excelled, using his combination of skill and grit to put forth dominant performances. During the Pistons' 103-86 win against the Lakers, the rookie big man posted 20 points and 14 rebounds.
Long offers great defense and ample scoring from either forward position. The acquisition of Long proved to be a huge factor in the early success of the Pistons in 1996-97
