Pistons Card of the Day

Leo (Crystal) Kuer
Was twice an All-American at Notre Dame before entering the play-for-pay boys with Indianapolis Jets of the BAA. One of top scorers of game. Last year Leo scored 612 points for Jets to lead them in scoring. The Pistons got him during the summer in a player-cash swap for Ken Menke... so, while this is Leo's third year in pro ball it is his first with Fort Wayne.

Name that player!

Hill tied Jason Kidd for the NBA lead in triple doubles, boosting his career total to 28. In 1996-97, Hill was the only NBA player to lead his team in scoring, rebounding and assists.

Terry is regaining the form that made him one of the best in Big 10 history. The rookie-of-the-year in '62-63, and 3-time All-Star, missed two valuable seasons serving in Armed Forces. Lifetime mark is 16.9.

Elliott improved his scoring for the 3rd straight year last season and still managed to set a career assist high. His .356 shooting from trey land was also a personal best.
