The first-ever champions of the NBA (1947), the Philadelphia Warriors maintained their winning ways when they switched cities and conferences, becoming the Western Conference's San Francisco Warriors in 1962. 1971 brought a move across the bay to Oakland, where as the Golden State Warriors, the team won the 1975 NBA Championship. DID YOU KNOW? The Warriors are the only NBA franchise with more scoring titles (12) than Michael Jordan. In his first full season as head coach (1970-71), Alvin Attles always knew he had someone he could trust on the bench - he also appeared in 34 games as a player. SCORECARD. On February 15, 1989, the Warriors swiped 25 balls from the San Antonio Spurs, equalling the NBA record for steals in a game set by the Warriors on March 25, 1975.
Marciulionis spends alot of time signing his full name, Raimondas Sarunas Marciulionis. Injuries, unfortunately, have cost him most of his floor time since 1992.
Oregon's all-time scoring champion with 1325 points in 75 games for a 17.7 average, Jim averaged 19 points per game as a junior and 19.3 points per game as a senior. He won All-America honors as a senior and in 1966 scored 19 points to tie for top honors on the Western squad in the East-West All-Star Game. Jim possesses great enthusiasm and is fast.
