Name that player!

Blaylock is a dangerous man to NBA defenses. His slippery style enables him to make quick decisions and ultimately dish the rock to open teammates for easy buckets, often rendering even a triple-team defensive effort fruitless.

The most prolific scorer in the history of college basketball, Pete broke the record for most points scored in a career formerly held by Oscar Robertson and became the first to top the 3,000 point mark. A unanimous All-American and the nation's leading scorer the past three seasons, he bettered the 50-point mark 26 different times in his varsity career.

Acquired by Hawks last season, Don is an aggressive player on both ends of the court. The 8th selection of the Rockets in 1970 college draft, he totaled 83 points vs. Hawks as a rookie, in 5 games for 16.6 average. Don's hometown is Atlanta.

Back to the Front! Hawks card back du jour...

Bob Pettit
The Hawks' star is regarded as the most proficient of all big men in every phase of the game. A tremendous team player, Bob can hit from the outside with a jump shot, drive for the basket with authority, set up his teammates with split second passes and clamp down on defense. With Bob setting the pace, St. Louis won its fifth straight Western Division championship last season. In seven years in the NBA, he has never fallen below a 20-point scoring average for any season. Here he's shown going up for a shot after evading Paul Arizin of the Warriors.
