Name that player!

The Rockets didn't have to decide between offense and defense when drafting Thompson. Arguably the best two-way prospect in the 2023 draft, the Overtime Elite product is a playmaking forward who feasts on mismatches and puts constant pressure on ball-handlers. He should be a force on both ends in H-Town.

One of the games classic shot blockers, Rolins came to Houston after spending a season with the Detroit Pistons. The longtime Hawks' center saw extended playing time early in 1991/92 because of Hakeem Olajuwon's injury problems.

Yao has been an NBA All-Star Game starter in each of his first three seasons, but there is widespread opinion that "you ain't seen nuthin' yet." One person of that mind is someone who knows a little about big men. "He's right there at the top with the best, but his whole potential is ahead of him," says Bill Russell. "We forget that he's just a kid. In terms of skills, he reminds me of Kareem. He's not there yet, but that is who I think he's most like."
