One of the top rookie prospects in the ABA in 1969-70, Larry enjoyed a superb campaign last season as he led the Rockets in scoring while ranking 6th in the ABA. One of the biggest guards in the ABA, he had an outstanding career at LaSalle where he averaged 18.7 as a sophomore, 19.5 as a junior and 18.9 as a senior. He was chosen as one of the 5 top pro prospects of 1969.
Cassell led the ACC and set a Florida State record for STL in 1992-93. . . Combined with Bob Sura to give FSU NCAA's #1 backcourt in PPG and RPG... Scored double figures in 33 of 35 G.
