The Rockets' second draft selection in 1977, Robert possesses great rebounding, jumping and defensive ability. He was a First Team All-American selection of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics during his senior campaign at St. Mary's. Robert helped the Rattlers win 4 straight Big State Conference titles. He had 1,509 points in his career.

Changed spelling of his first name from "Akeem" in March to reflect the original Arabic spelling...Led NBA in rebounding and blocked shots in 1990, the second player ever to do so...Named to All-NBA First Team three straight years (1987-89).



One of the games classic shot blockers, Rolins came to Houston after spending a season with the Detroit Pistons. The longtime Hawks' center saw extended playing time early in 1991/92 because of Hakeem Olajuwon's injury problems.

Fueling the Rockets' long-range fire against Charlotte, House singed the net six times from 3-point land on Feb. 4, 2020. Helping the home team pull away for a 125-110 triumph, the forward finished with 22 points while also contributing nine rebounds, a trio of steals and a blocked shot.
