Name that player!

Even though 6-foot-1-inch Chris Jackson had never dunked in an NBA game, he came to the NBA All-Star Weekend to try his luck among the game's greats in the 1993 NBA Slam-Dunk Championship. Apparently nervous in his first-ever trip to the competition, he concentrated on simply making his first slam, a bounce pass to himself off the floor of the Delta Center. After failing to connect on his second dunk, Jackson earned his highest grade of the event with a reverse, two-handed jam that received a 42.8.

A 6-year performer with the Pacers, Darnell ranks 7th on club's all-time scoring list and 4th on Indiana rebound list.

LaPhonso's apparent ascension into the ranks of the elite power forwards was interrupted by a knee injury in November '94 that shelved him for the first 76 games of last season and delayed his 1995-96 season opening. In '93, Ellis was voted to the NBA All-Rookie First Team.
