Name that player!

Tim might be a silent superstar, but one honor speaks loudly: In 2003-04, he was co-winner (with David Robinson) of Sports Illustrated's Sportsman of the Year award. The Admiral calls Duncan "one of the smartest basketball players I've ever seen," and teammates and foes alike are unanimous in praise of his character.

The third overall pick of the 1989 draft started off slowly but came on at the end of his rookie season. Sean played in all but one game in 1989-90 and was the Spurs' fifth-best scorer and top shooter from the free-throw line. In 1989, Elliott captured the Wooden Award as college basketball's player-of-the-year. Sean also broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's PAC-10 scoring record. Ironically, he broke the mark in a game against UCLA, Jabbar's school.

Named to NBA All-Defensive First Team for second year in a row... NBA Rookie of the Year in 1990... Led NBA in rebounding in 1990-91... Consensus College Player of the Year in 1987, winning 12 such awards... Member of 1988 and 1992 U.S. Olympic Teams... "The Admiral's" naval rank is Lieutenant J.G.

LaMarcus Aldridge
The first member of the 2006 NBA Draft class to score 15,000 career points, Aldridge reached the milestone in San Antonio's 97-90 victory against Memphis on March 23, 2017. He scored 23 points on 10-of-16 shooting, hitting the magic number with his final shot of the night: a midrange jumper with 1:17 remaining.
