Name that player!

Johnson has gradually upgraded his game since he joined the league in 2019-20. "Coming in, I was definitely a driver. Hard right, catch and rip," he told The Athletic. Nowadays he prefers a bit more of a chill approach, doing whatever his teammates need while still flashing his classic game-changing ways.

The fresh-faced guard impressed, flashing his ability to knock down shots in catch-and-shoot and isolation situations. Against Brooklyn, the fearless rookie matched up against fellow first-rounder Cameron Thomas and scored 21 points.

Duncan snagged Western Conference Player of the Week honors for the 21st time for the week ending on Nov. 25, 2012. He sealed the accolade by clearing 20 points and 14 rebounds in three consecutive games. The last time Duncan had three straight games of 20-plus points and 14-plus boards was in 2003-04.

Back to the Front! Spurs card back du jour...

David Robinson
After sitting out the previous two years because of a Navy commitment, David's first NBA Season was, by all accounts, awesome. Robinson captured the NBA rookie-of-the-year award in 1990 by leading the Spurs in scoring, rebounding, steals and blocked shots. David finished 10th in the leaque in scoring, second in rebounding and third in blocked shots. David captured the Wooden Award as college basketball's player-of-the-year in 1987, and was the first player to total 2,500 points and 1,300 rebounds.
