The confident leaper from the University of Georgia was originally picked by the Chicago Bulls in the 1992 NBA Draft but was later traded to the Magic for future draft choices. A three-time All-SEC selection, Green is an exceptional athlete who left Georgia as the school's all-time leader in points (2,111), assists (466) and three-pointers (215-for-544, .395).



After 7 seasons playing under the basket in Chicago's triangle offense, Grant increased his range in Orlando. On 4/21 against Indiana, he hit his first 10 FG's - 8 from beyond the free throw line.



NBA's Rookie of the Year for 1992-93... Led the Magic to a franchise-best 41 wins... Averaged 23.4 ppg, 13.9 rpg and 3.5 bpg... Started in the 1993 NBA All-Star Game in Salt Lake City... Became first rookie in NBA history to be named NBA Player of the Week in first week of professional career... Named National Player of the Year by AP, UPI and Sports Illustrated after sophomore season at LSU.

Tracy McGrady
McGrady was obtained by the Orlando Magic on August 3, 2000 in a sign-and-trade deal with the Toronto Raptors. The explosive swingman paced Toronto and finished 12th in the NBA in blocked shots per game (1.91) for 1999-2000. He finished third in the voting for NBA Sixth Man of the Year and fifth for the NBA's Most Improved Player.
