The second year was much better than the first for Corliss. He fit into the Kings' scheme and improved his numbers in every major category.



Ernie turned in outstanding Playoff performances for the Kings last season. During the regular campaign he notched 205 Assists, 60 Steals and 15 Blocked Shots. He's extremely quick.



The Kings have played in the East (Rochester Royals, 1948-57; Cincinnati Royals, 1957-72) and the West (Sacramento, 1985-present) with a stop in the Midwest in between (Kansas City-Omaha Kings, 1972-75; Kansas City Kings, 1975-85). The only NBA Championship in the franchise's 44-year history came in 1951, when the Royals beat the Knicks 4-3. DID YOU KNOW? The Kings set the NBA standard for points in an overtime period with 24 against the Utah Jazz on March 17, 1990. No one has ever scored 50 points in Arco Arena. Entering 1992-93, the Kings had sold out their last 288 home contests, the third-longest streak in the NBA. SCORECARD. In a January 6, 1951, matchup with the Indianapolis Olympians, the Rochester Royals took the game to an NBA-record six overtimes before losing 75-73.
