Carter arrived to Memphis for the 2014-15 campaign with one goal in mind: an NBA title. "I'm able to come in and hopefully get us over the hump," said the veteran who's played for six teams in his 17-year career. "That's the goal. Go as far as possible and hopefully hold up that O'Brien Trophy here in Memphis."

Round 1 of the 2012-13 edition of Gasol vs. Gasol belonged to Marc and the Grizzlies. Memphis welcomed Pau Gasol and the Lakers on Nov. 23, and the hosts eased to a 106-98 win. Marc earned bragging rights over his big brother in the game by scoring 14 points and distributing a team-high eight assists.
