Commanders Card of the Day

Chase Young
The rest of the NFC East caught a bit of a breather when Washington saw Young end his season after only 10 games in 2021. It'll be back to normal in 2022 and beyond. The disruptive defensive end will be back to chasing Cowboys, Eagles and Giants and making an impact in the race for the top of the heap.

"No words can express how much this city has meant to me," Wylie wrote, saying his goodbyes to Kansas City after signing with the Commanders in 2023. The two-time Super Bowl winner was off to establish roots and hold his ground with his new squad as an outstanding offensive tackle with big-game experience.

A running game is a quarterback's best friend, so Will Levis did his back a solid and recommended him to the pros. "There's no one more fearless on the field than him at any time," the Kentucky signal-caller said of Rodriguez as the 2023 draft approached. "Any NFL team that takes him is going to be very happy they did."

Phidarian Mathis
The LSU-Alabama rivalry extends off the field, where the two programs compete for the nation's best recruits. Despite a stronghold in the Boot State, the Tigers lost Mathis, a product of Wisner, La., to Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide. At Bama, the defensive tackle excelled, becoming an All-SEC performer.
