Broncos Card of the Day

Willie Brown
Willie was one of Denver's top rookies in 1963. His speed, aggressiveness, and mobility earned him a starting role for the Broncos. A real rock'em, sock'em kind of player, Willie is a coach's dream. Great things are anticipated for this hard-hitting back this year. He led the Broncos in pass interception in 1964.

One of the finest players to be produced from out of the 1964 crop of collegians, Gerry is rarin' to show the pros what he can do. Extremely fast, Gerry will be used as a kick-off and punt return specialist as well as a defensive back. Last year the big man from Jacksonville, Florida was named to Time Magazine's All-Defensive Team. Watch for the name of Gerry Bussell to make all kinds of gridiron headlines this season.
