Willie Richardson
Willie got his chance to play regularly in 1967 and made the most of it as he led the Baltimore Colts with 63 catches. The flanker was named as the M.V.P. in both the North-South and the All- American Bowl games.

"Blast" Sandusky bombs through his opposition's line, clearing a path for his carrier. This line of attack results in his being a weary Colt at each game end.



They don't come any bigger, nor much better than Gene. His tremendous power has ruined many a Sunday for runners and passers. With Gene rushing in, all you have time for is a fast prayer.



During college days, played end for George Washington University. Was on the great Chicago Bears' teams of 1940-42. Took part in the Bears' 73-0 defeat of the Washington Redskins. With Los Angeles Dons, 1946-47. With Baltimore Colts since 1948. Switched from end to linebacker, mid-1949. Was outstanding defense man on club.
