The Rams depend on Norm's strong arm to roll up scores and his toe to get them out of danger. For 5 straight seasons, he either won or was runner up for League Passing Honors. Norm led the N.F.L. in '55 in Punting, with long, booming kicks to move the Rams out of their 'back yard'.
