Jim Marshall
Jim established two NFL records in 1975. His 222 games are the most ever played by a defensive player and his 26 fumble recoveries are more than anyone else in pro football history. Jim has started each of the 210 games the Vikings have played after playing in 12 games with the Browns in 1960. The captain of Vikings' defensive unit, he played one year in Canada before joining Browns. Jim was All-Big 10 at Ohio State.

The Vikings got Grady from the NFL '61 veterans' pool. He started at guard and moved to tackle. He started every game in '61 and has been a regular since.



A participant in 6 Pro Bowl Games, Carl has been selected for All-Pro recognition 6 times. The winner of the George Halas Award in 1971 as the NFL's Best Defensive Player, he caused 6 opponents' fumbles during the 1974 season. Carl was an All-American at Minnesota where he was a two-way starter. He was a 3-year regular in the line for Minnesota and a teammate of Bobby Bell, formerly with the Kansas City Chiefs. A hard hitter and ferocious tackler.



For his outstanding play in 1971 Alan became the first defensive player in NFL history to be named Most Valuable Player in the league.
