Name that player!

On the reverse side illustration notice the way George Kenneally of the Philadelphia Eagles is holding his hands to receive a forward pass. Best method is to catch the football as you would a basketball, with the palms outward and clasping it with the fingers. There is small danger of fumbles if the player has a sure pair of hands. End and backs must become expert in making these basketball catches and able to handle fast "spot" throws, as well as long heaves down the field. George Kenneally, Captain Philadelphia Eagles, Bonaventure College. Won 16 Sports Letters. All League End and Captain, 1928. 6 ft. tall, 192 pounds. Home, South Boston, Mass.

Johnson doesn't horse around in the offseason. On his property, he converted a horse barn into a world-class gym, and he invites his Eagles teammates and fellow NFL players to competitive workouts in what he calls the "Bro Barn." Come the regular season, the offensive tackle is ready to throw his weight around.

"Nipper" led the offense for Loyola College of California during his last two years so effectively that he was named the most valuable lineman. He also won the trophy for the best blocking average. All in all he played four years' varsity football, the last year as captain of the Loyola team. He was chosen for the All-Coast and All-Opponents team in 1951. He joins the Eagles with a reputation of speed and durability, and it is expected he will make a good showing for himself. At the end of current season, Nipp intends to return to Loyola to finish his course in Business Administration.
