Name that player!

Hines's decline in receptions in 2004 was deceptive, since he led the NFL by catching passes on 71% of the 113 times he was targeted. The only four-time Pro Bowl receiver in Steelers history, he has topped them in catches six straight years.

Drafted by the Steelers in 1963, Andy's pro football career was interrupted by the Army in 1964 and 1965. The hard-hitting rugged competitor quickly developed into one of the NFL's top linebackers in 1966. Andy rocks 'em hard!

A genuine "big play" threat each time he touches the ball, Walter brings speed and explosiveness to the Steelers' offense. He has instinctive, versatile talent to run inside and 4.5 speed in the 40-yard dash to turn the corner for long gainers.

Back to the Front! Steelers card back du jour...

Jerry Shipkey
Jerry, one of the best defensive backfield men in pro football, is in his fifth year with the Steelers. He came to the team from UCLA where he played football and made a new record for shotput. He is known as a dependable fullback who can get three or four yards per carry. In 1951, when Pittsburgh led the league with 30 interceptions, Jerry accounted for 6 of them, one a beautiful 58-yard return.
