The Redskins finished 5th in the Eastern Conference last season with seven and seven. They scored 351 to 355 for their opponents. The Skins were tied for first place in scoring in the Punt Return Department with 1 TD.

Who is it?


The NFC's third leading passer in 1971, Bill took over for injured Sonny Jurgensen and led the Redskins to a playoff berth. Bill was named Offensive Player of Week in 1969.

Who is it?


One of the very few players in NFL history to make grade without college experience... obtained from the Browns just before '54 season. Showed good running ability last year before suffering a rib injury which sidelined him last two games. Was the best in kickoff returns for the Redskins last season and ranked fifth in the League... set all-time Redskins' record with 99-yard kickoff return against Eagles. Born in Kansas City, Mo. and attended Narbonne (Calif.) High. Marine clerk in off-season.
