Long before he made his name in the NFL as a bruiser in the secondary and a master in the front office, Lynch was airing things out as a high school field general. "I liked playing quarterback," he told the Del Mar Times, "But in the end I found out that playing defense and hitting people is what I really like."

Tampa Bay made a plan for 2020, and the acquisition of Brady was the first step. "Going after Tom was our No. 1 priority." general manager Tom Licht said. "Because we knew he'd be a perfect fit for what we're trying to do here. ...He's going to demand the best out of himself, his teammates and anybody that's around him."
