Has been a regular with the Canadiens since '49-50. Cooled off for 128 minutes in the penalty box during the 1950-51 season.



Last season, Gump combined with Chas. Hodge to win the Vezina Trophy. Starred in last year's Stanley Cup play-offs when for 10 games his goals against average was only 2 per game. This was lower than Roger Crozier of Detroit who won the Conn Smythe Trophy.



In the 377 regular season games he has played Beliveau has scored 208 goals and 238 assists. He's added an impressive 71 playoff points in 55 games for an overall mark of 507 points in 432 games with 239 goals.
