Name that player!

It only took Kaberle two games to record his first NHL point. The assist came in a 3-2 win of the Edmonton Coliseum. In fact, through his first 19 games with the parent club, Koberle racked up 10 points, quite a respectable number for a first-year defenseman. His first goal came in the second period of a 5-3 win at Detroit's Joe Louis Arena. He then responded by sending home the game-winner in the third period the very next night at Pittsburgh. Although he's just 20-years-old, Kaberle handles the puck with great maturity for someone his age.

A fast-skating 184-pounder, he was signed from Marlboros just after the New Year last season and scored 10 goals in 35 games making a sensational debut. 18 years old - Eric is the youngest player on the team and a specialist at drawing a goaltender out of the net.

Every so often a youngster comes along with a blend of skills that suggest he can't miss making it in the NHL and Aldcom is one of them. Developed in the Maple Leafs system, Gary is a versatile forward who will give coach Howie Meeker playmaking and scoring skills as well as considerable vitality in the dressing room. If his amateur hockey record is any barometer, Aldcom should reach the 20-goal mark before long.
