Name that player!

Smallish goalie hit the jackpot as rookie last season. Hard-working, acrobatic, he got mid-season Miamr break and came back strong. Succeeded Terry Sawchuk.

Once before, the NHL had a brilliant center of French extraction whose nickname was "Pit" and that was Pit Lepine of the Canadiens. The Red Wing youngster's given first name is Hubert, but it's seldom used. Pit showed great promise as a rookie last season.

Detroit is giving this fine left winger every opportunity to play in the N.H.L. this season. Gary turned pro when he was 18 years old and has had extensive minor league experience in the E.P.H.L., A.H.L. and C.P.H.L.
