Real Chevrefils
When Real fractured his leg in November, 1953 and was out for the season, it was feared he would never play hockey again. But, he's back this season, taking up where he left off. His 1st full season with Boston (1952-53) was a fine one, as he scored 19 Goals and 14 Assists. At Hershey in 1951-52, he had 20 Goals in 34 games and was brought up to Boston to play in 33 games.

Marchand played for two of the five consecutive Canadian teams to win gold medals at the World Junior Championships, in 2007 and 2008. He chipped in four goals and two assists to the cause during the 2008 event in the Czech Republic.

A top competitor and "policeman" on defense with more than 10 years in NHL. He started with Bruins, went to Toronto, then back to Bruins. Selected last year to 2nd NHL all-star team.

Who is it?


Charlie is known in the trade as a digger due to his alertness and aggressiveness in corners. Scored 15 goals last season after starting out in Kingston and being recalled. Always plays with a helmet, result of serious skull fracture. He's not noted as scorer, but proved worth in full turn.

Ted Green
Perhaps one of the toughest defensemen in the N.H.L., Ted has matured enough so that he no longer gets the "cheap" penalties and as a result spends more time on the ice and is more effective. His rough, tough play keeps opposing forwards with their heads up all the time.
