Born Jansen, Sask., Nov. 27, 1932. 5'10", 172. Shoots right. Kenny led AHL in goals before Rangers acquired him in 1959-60. He was used primarily to kill penalties last year. All of his pro minor experience was under Eddie Shore.

The "Old Master" of the Ranger defense. Has missed only 20 games in his entire 17-year career. Won Norris Trophy in 1967. Was honored by New York City, the Ranger management, players and press for long service. Once captained Rangers.
