A crowd-pleaser with a brilliant style of play, he was the second player chosen in 1975 draft. Had established himself as tough, high scoring wing with Medicine Hat, and became a key man on the attack for Rockies last season. His aggressive style of play had landed him in the penalty box for 372 minutes in '73-74 & '74-75.

When Barry joined the Rockies he became one of the biggest players ever to enter the NHL. An effective offensive player with a hard shot, he also moves puck well. Barry clears players from in front of goal, gives solid checks.
