Name that player!

In Sweden, Thomas was part of the 1980 Olympics silver medal team and was named Swedish Player of the Year in 1980-81. In his ninth and finest NHL season yet (1989-90), he tallied five power-play goals, three game winners, and one game-tying goal, plus a 10=game scoring streak. Thomas was selected to play in the 1990 NHL All-Star Game, but injuries prevented him from playing. He has 64 points in 64 games vs. the L.A. Kings.

Gary holds several Canucks' club records including 32 Wins & 6 Shutouts in 1974-75.

Gord Donnelly
Gord is one of the few players to be traded for a coach; his rights were transferred to Quebec in 1983 when St. Louis signed Jacques Demers. Gord began his pro career as a right wing but converted to defense. In Winnipeg in 1989-90, he was plus-3 in six playoff games, with one assist. While scoring less in 1989-90, Gord made a dramatic improvement in his plus/minus rating, from minus-20 in 1988-89 to plus-3 in 1989-90. He now wears jersey no. 34.
