Palmieri led the OHL's Erie Otters with 24 goals and was third on the squad with 45 points in his second year of juniors in 2006-07. He was traded to Belleville during the 08-09 season, and led the Bulls in playoff goal scoring with 14 in 17 games.

The four-time Vezina Trophy winner has never been awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy, despite spectacular performances in three Devils runs to the Stanley Cup. He had a 1.61 GAA and .927 save percentage in 2000 as the Devils won the title for a second time.

Scott has been a remarkably reliable and timely clutch scorer throughout his 10-year NHL tenure. Roughly half of his career tallies have come with the Devils on the power play, and nearly one-fourth have been game-winners. In 2001-02, that number was nearly 50%.
