Name that player!

The defensive-minded Adams is at his best when he works at killing off penalties and back checking the opposition into turnovers. But his offensive skills are noteworthy as well, as he proved in 2005-06 with a new career high in goals.

Slavin was named First Star of Carolina's 7-1 win at Boston on Jan. 18, 2022, after he collected a pair of assists in the first period and score a power-play goal in the third frame. It was the sixth game of Slavin's career with at least three points, the fourth-most by a defenseman in Hartford/Carolina franchise history behind Dave Babych (12), Mark Howe (12) and Zarley Zalapski (seven).

On April 1, 2001, "Archie" beat the Senators, 3-2, in Ottawa, in OT. In so doing, the pride of Latvia posted his 35th victory of the year to mark a new career high mark.
